Leaf distal median cells 25–65 × 45 µm, thin-walled except for the tiny corner thickenings, marginal cells quadrate, basal cells rectangular. Antheridia mingled with hyaline, filiform paraphyses. Seta: wrinkled-striate, often twisted when dry.
